Litbuy pre-shipping checklist: review your parcel before submitting
Use a final submission checklist to confirm the item list, resolved QC issues, address, selected packaging and payable amount before sending a parcel.
1. Make a final list of the items being shipped
Open the warehouse selection and compare it with the products you intend to receive. Check each order reference, variation and quantity. If you have bought similar items more than once, use the reference number rather than the picture alone to distinguish them.
Separate ready items from those that still need an answer. An unresolved return request, unclear size or missing component should be dealt with before including that product in the parcel. Do not assume a note attached to an item will automatically pause an otherwise submitted shipment.
Our suggested final record is simple: order reference, selected item, quantity and your decision to ship or hold. It does not need to be another large spreadsheet. It only needs to make the intended parcel contents unambiguous when you review the submission.
2. Finish the QC decisions and check warehouse deadlines
Review any inspection photographs and support replies that influenced your decision. Make sure you have looked at the received item rather than only the seller’s original photos. If you requested an extra detail, confirm that the answer is available and satisfactory before moving on.
Check the oldest stored item and any fees displayed in the account. Litbuy’s storage policy gives items individual storage periods; they do not all share the date of the newest arrival. A parcel plan should account for those dates even when you are holding several purchases together.
Do not use the storage deadline as the deadline for deciding on a return. Those are separate processes with different conditions. Resolve the product decision first, then use the storage information to plan when the acceptable items will leave.
3. Read the delivery address as a complete label
Check the recipient name, country, postcode, city, street and building details together. Include apartment or unit information when needed, and review any contact field requested by the shipping form. The address should identify the actual delivery point without depending on a message hidden elsewhere in the order.
Litbuy’s shipping policy places responsibility for accurate address information on the customer. Recheck an address saved earlier, especially if you have moved or used a different recipient for a previous order. A familiar saved address is not necessarily the correct one for this parcel.
If you are unsure whether a route accepts your address format or location, ask before submitting. Do not assume an address correction will be possible after the parcel is handed to the carrier. Resolve the uncertainty while the shipping choices are still being reviewed.
4. Confirm packaging requests and route conditions
At this stage, the route and packing arrangement should already be chosen. If you still need to compare them, work through the shipping costs and route selection guide first, then return to this final check.
Match the submission screen to your decisions:
- The service name and destination match the route you reviewed.
- The selected items are the ones you checked for that service.
- Requests to retain or remove boxes are attached to the correct items.
- Any extra protection you selected appears in the packing instructions.
Read the instructions once as if you were the person packing the parcel. “Keep the shoe box for order A; remove only the outer delivery carton” is easier to interpret than “remove unnecessary packaging.” Save the completed selection with your parcel record.
5. Review the amount due before confirming
Compare the amount on the final screen with the quote you decided to accept. Check the shipping line, selected services, any storage charge and discounts actually applied. Each added service should correspond to a choice you intended to make.
If you changed the contents or packaging after obtaining the quote, check the updated total before confirming. Record the amount being paid now and any later adjustment described on the screen. Keep that confirmation beside the item list so you can identify which parcel it belongs to.
If a number is unclear, stop at the review stage and ask about the relevant line. Confirming first and trying to reconstruct the quote later makes a simple question harder to resolve.
6. Save the parcel record and follow its progress
After submission, verify that the parcel appears in the account and save its reference. Check the items still left in the warehouse separately; submitting one parcel does not automatically resolve their deadlines or outstanding questions.
Follow preparation, dispatch and tracking as distinct stages. The shipping policy’s delivery estimates begin after dispatch, and the first tracking update may take time. Use the actual parcel status when contacting support, and keep the submission details available until the delivery has been checked.
Before confirming: the item list is correct; QC questions are resolved; the address is complete; packaging and route terms are understood; the payable amount has been reviewed. This is our practical review sequence, not an additional platform requirement.
After arrival, use the delivery problems and returns guide if you need to preserve evidence or raise a specific issue.
