Litbuy delivery problems, returns and refunds
Keep useful delivery evidence, distinguish warehouse returns from parcel issues and understand the information needed for a return or refund review.
1. Identify the stage before choosing the next action
A problem with an item still in the warehouse is different from a parcel delayed in transit or an item found damaged after delivery. Start by recording the current status and the relevant order or parcel number. This tells support which process needs attention.
For an incorrect item seen in QC photos, ask about the product while it remains at the warehouse. For a shipping problem, use the parcel reference and tracking history. Avoid describing every issue as a refund request without explaining what happened and what resolution you are asking for.
The published policies distinguish these situations and attach conditions to each. A warehouse return window should not be applied to an international parcel still in transit, and a transit delay should not be assumed to create an immediate refund entitlement.
2. Check the delivery and preserve useful evidence
Keep the parcel packaging while you inspect the contents. Compare the received items with the order records and note any missing pieces, visible damage or incorrect options. Photograph the shipping label, damaged packaging and the relevant item details when they help explain the issue.
Our suggestion is to keep photographs together with a short factual account: what was expected, what arrived and when you noticed the problem. Avoid using or altering an item while you are asking whether it can be returned. Original tags, accessories and packaging can matter to eligibility.
Litbuy’s shipping policy asks customers to report lost or damaged parcels within seven days of delivery or the expected delivery date. Raise the issue promptly, and confirm the applicable process with support rather than waiting while trying to diagnose the entire cause yourself.
3. Check the conditions for a warehouse return
If the item is still in storage, keep the warehouse QC comparison with the order. It helps distinguish a visible mismatch from a detail that simply needs another photograph.
The returns page describes a limited return service for eligible goods stocked in the warehouse, including a five-day window. Eligibility also depends on the seller’s service and whether the item remains in a condition that satisfies the return requirements. The time allowance alone does not guarantee acceptance.
Check the exact status and request deadline shown for your order. Customized goods, used or altered items and products with required packaging or accessories removed may not qualify. If you are unsure, ask before requesting removal of tags or original packaging.
Return costs can depend on the reason and the seller’s decision. The published page discusses domestic shipping and service charges, including situations where the original dispatch cost may have to be paid. Obtain the calculation for your order rather than assuming a product advertised with free shipping also has a free return.
4. Make a clear request and wait for instructions
Include the order number, item name, reason for the request and photographs where relevant. State the resolution you prefer: a return, replacement or refund review. Describe a visible mismatch precisely, such as the ordered colour differing from the received label or photo.
The official policy requires support approval before an item is sent back. Do not post a return to the sender address printed on the packaging; wait for the address and instructions supplied for the approved return. Confirm who pays the shipping and what needs to be included.
Use a trackable return service when instructed to send an item, and retain the tracking record and receipt. An approved request still needs to be completed correctly; approval by itself does not mean the returned item has been received or inspected.
5. Distinguish a refund review from money arriving
The returns policy describes inspection after receipt of the returned item and refunds to the original payment method. Check the decision and the amount approved, including any fees that are not refundable. Shipping, payment, service or import-related charges may be treated differently from the product price.
Processing by Litbuy and posting by the payment provider are separate stages. The policy lists time ranges for both, but the actual arrival depends on the case and provider. Keep the approval date and refund reference so a follow-up can address the right stage rather than restarting the request.
If the account shows that a refund has been processed but you cannot identify it, ask for the reference and check with the payment provider. Do not assume an order cancellation, a return approval and a completed refund all describe the same event.
6. Follow up on shipping issues with the parcel record
For a delayed parcel, check the most recent tracking event and whether the parcel is still moving, awaiting an update or being investigated. Litbuy’s shipping policy does not describe ordinary transit delays or customs processing as automatic grounds for a refund.
Contact support with the parcel number, tracking details and a concise explanation of the issue. Keep subsequent replies in the same record, and follow the instructions for additional evidence. The useful next step is a documented investigation and a clear response about your parcel, rather than a promised outcome based on another buyer’s experience.
